Dr. Sims and his fabulous staff..

When you are greeted at our office, our courteous staff will make you feel special. We respect our patients time. Dr. Sims practice is high quality which makes the waiting time minimal. We do not double book and rarely run behind schedule.
For our out of town patients, we provide complimentary hotel reservations and pay for airport pick up services.

Our staff includes: Sharon Wiland: Office Manager, Michel Arboleda: Office Coordinator, Eliza Shafa: Certified Dental Hygienist, Ruth Garcilazo & Corina Vrejoiu: Certified Dental Assistants.

We believe that our patients will feel better about themselves as a result of their positive experience and completed treatment at our office. We strive for excellence through numerous hours of continuing education.

Meet Dr. Sims

Dr. Sims received his B.S. and B.A degrees in biology and psychology from Syracuse University in 1980. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. His memberships include: The Academy Of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, N.Y.S. Dental Society, Queens County Dental Society, The Study Group for Advanced Dentists, and Northern Queens Study Group. He is also a senior consultant for the Dental Advisor; an organization that tests new dental products. Recently, Dr. Sims was awarded his certificate for completing 500 hours of Continuing Education.

Dr. Sims lives in suburban Long Island with his wife and two young sons. In addition to his love for his family and profession, his interests include playing basketball, golf and tennis, travelling, boating and bicycling. Dr. Sims is also a sports car enthusiast.
